(Pulsar's office. He is visited by an elderly patient.) Patient: I feel awful. I feel like I have no energy. Pulsar: That's nothing. We probably just need to change the batteries on all your vital organs. Patient: How long must I waste away like this? I feel so unproductive! Pulsar: Please keep your voice down! We don't want to upset the blobs. Patient: Doctor, I'm a hundred and ninety-four years old! I've lived all the way from the Second World War to the First War of the Worlds! I think I've lived long enough! Pulsar: Don't you want to survive to see the next Ice Age? |
