In the late 1940's, the pioneers of modern telecommunications got together and decided what kind of people they needed to staff their new broadcasting corporation. (A board room lecture.) We really think, with the way that our content will affect the hearts and souls of the artists and their followers that we should take all of our staff from the reptile family - in order that they can remain emotionally detached. Performers will need to be utterly ruthless in the acquisition of their material to meet the daily demands of their audiences. They should all be crocodiles. And our news staff will have to change their colours every day to fit in with the ever changing lies of the present, so we think chameleons would make the best reporters. What about the executives? King cobras? No, they're already reptiles. We can leave them as we are. Now we're sending a boat down to the Amazon rainforest... |
